STEP it UP IN STEM(Ed): Creating community and bridging opportunities in STEM education

The goal of STEP it UP in STEM(Ed) is to create the foundation of a long-term partnership that builds a sense of community and belonging for STEM students at Skyline College and SFSU through the Center for Science and Mathematics Education. By leveraging successful programs at both campuses such as Transfer Day and Explore SF Day, near-peer mentorship in Skyline’s STEM Center and SFSU’s Supplemental Instruction and Learning Assistants programs, and exposure to STEM undergraduate research at the SFSU Student Project Showcase.
