Research
At CSME, it is our mission to inspire the teaching and learning of science, mathematics, and computer science education. We are dedicated to running a number of research programs that range from the vast depths of the universe all the way to the relationship between green consumerism and social/environmental justice. While being a center for science and mathematics education, we are committed to confronting anti-blackness, anti-racism, and various topics of social justice in our teaching and research. By partnering with a number of local schools and organizations on STEM education projects, CSME is able to create a successful and inclusive environment of learning within a supportive community. Our collective research funding helps to provide our undergraduate and graduate students direct financial support to continue their studies at an important time. Our intellectual and physical spaces encourage excellence, collaboration, and compassion both on and office campus.
